Yep, Texas is #2 in the country for highest amount of trafficking. Nevada is #1, then Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, and then South Carolina.
Almost all trafficking cases originate with the parents selling their kids off, and they are almost always in very low income areas and usually rural places. It's an awful situation.
The one in Texas had 109 victims. But they couldn't verify the existence of 75 of them, so this one becomes the biggest bust in history with 60 kids being rescued.
The definition of rescue differs per state. Most states count a rescue as removing the kid from the situation, others count it as deleting the videos/photos. Law Enforcement also change it up based on whatever they want to look like they're doing more work kind of.
75 with no records. π
If you read the full report, they think most of them just ran away from their captors or "Aged-out" and were released. There was no evidence of deaths.
Nevada is #1?!?! And Louisiana #2?! I never would have guessed any of those states, honestly⦠MAYBE Florida⦠I would have guessed Arizona, Texas, California and New Jersey
Those are the next ones on the list.
The airport in Las Vegas is one of the most busy internationally on the planet. It's the #1 most crossed "border" in the US by foreigners.
