As you said, China is a black box and most of us have no idea what's inside it. Add the fact that communism has an expiration date and that whole situation becomes pretty unsettling.

Medical issues being one, since that has been my wheelhouse, and the other is China, because I have been a CCP and communism watcher for years.
There is an interest in the subject because of my own family history that involves escaping from communism in Russia that swept in and took over. My grandparents were a huge influence on me. Their warnings about the evils of communism did not fall on deaf ears with me. Often, those who have been touched by communism and its effects are the first to sound the alarm over its subtle infiltration into free countries. I have been raising the alarm for years, not just about communism in general, but especially the CCP. Most of the people are unaware of its reach into their everyday lives. Thankfully, because of Xi's very public wolf warrior in your face challenges, many have now opened their eyes. They are shocked to see the extent of the infiltration that happened while they were asleep. But better late than never. Trump is one such person that has been trying to wake the rest of the people up about the threat from the CCP.
You are correct that in the world of geopolitics that involve the CCP are confusing and many lack understanding of what is inside that black box. It is important because today most geopolitics must factor in the CCP element because the CCP's influence tentacles reach everywhere. For the most part, the CCP operates silently behind the scenes. That is their preferred MO. Too many people, especially in government, for years have underestimated their influence - to their own destruction. Make no mistake, that is exactly the CCPs intentions - to bring the world under CCP domination and away from US lead Western hegemony. So any information I can add to increase other's knowledge about that CCP black box, I am glad to do so. Thank you for taking the time to increase your own knowledge base.
