2Tim 3:16: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
God tells us his Word will be preserved and has been for thousands of years, without the Apocrypha included.
Ps 12:6-7: "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."
Funny enough, 1st century Christ Killing Jews also didnt want those books in to be included in the old testament. They didnt have a problem with them before they killed Christ & persecuted the early church, but they couldn't deal with them after the early church used them.
