By comparison: I've only lived two years of my life in a city where we "had" to lock the doors at night. I've lived in seven states. If I got to lock the doors, after awhile it's time to move. We don't own keys to our present house, been here 20 years, or at least we can't find them. In PNW. Had a car break-in once in CA.
