Just because the government passes laws doesn't mean the things the laws are based on are actually real.

Just look at all the laws passed about Climate Change. Does that mean Climate Change is actually real or that the congressmen passing those laws really think they're real? Are carbon emissions really causing more extreme weather, since a law was passed to stop it because of that?

Or how about anti-racist or DEI laws to prevent racist practices in hiring "people of color? Is that actually a real problem if laws were created to prevent it?

What about all the laws to prevent hate crimes? Are all the hate crimes that are supposed to be prevented by having these laws actually real?

I can go on like this for a long time. Micro aggressions, harassment, hate speech, food insecurity, sexual harassment, disinformation laws, etc...

So no, just because someone is making a law doesn't mean the law the thing is about is actually real.

Note: This does NOT mean that weather modification is not real. Just that your logic is faulty thinking that a law being made is proof that something actually exists or not. So don't run up my ass on that. (Though I'm sure people will anyway, because they don't bother reading entire posts that are longer than 20 words 🙄. )

Laws are often passed preemptively, symbolically, or politically. We’ve passed laws on fake crises, imaginary threats, and fringe ideology countless times. A law doesn’t prove reality—it proves influence.

Also, don't count your chickens before they hatch. This is one person saying they're going to introduce a bill to create a law. It doesn't mean it's been passed and is a law. Tons of crazy ass bills have been proposed. Very few of them will ever actually get made into laws. Sad that people don't understand this. Especially here.
