You have to be careful with these kinds of posts, because while thee essence of the claim is correct (that we are ruled by corporate entities), it did not happen overnight, nor in the way they claim.
In 1871, no entity called United States, Inc was created. Please provide reference if you find one.
What did happen in 1871 is District of Columbia Organic Act which established the area of District of Columbia, technically outside the US Constitution (hence DC residents lack representation in Congress and Senate), and organised as a municipal corporation and is the mother of all US corporations, so to speak.
However, by itself, this did not create "United States, Inc" figuratively or literally.
Later on when Federal Reserve Act was passed in 1913, it still did not create United States Inc, since this Act created multiple regional Feds, each independant and each had the ability to control interest rates.
However, the Banking Act of 1935 centralized the power structure of the Fed and created FOMC - a singular authority that can dictate the monetary policy. Treasury Secretary was removed from this body, making it into a completely private control, situated in the jurisdiction of Washington DC, which is a municipal corporation.
You can make a compelling argument that creation of United States Inc figuratively was started in 1871 and completed in 1935, since the Fed now had the power to dictate what the US government does, and was fully under private control.
So like I said, the essence of this claim is correct, but will not stand up to any real fact checks or critical analysis, unless you show how this process happened gradually between 1871 to 1935.
Also, if you want to make this a separate post, it would be sticky worthy. The amount of references in this comment is worth memorializing in a sticky post.
The period of greatest individual prosperity in the USA preceded property and income taxes- something the bankers took notice of and acted accordingly.

If you read my response carefully, you will realise that we are both in complete agreement in all points.
