This is a good question. Jesus' form of Christianity, no. Any other warped version -yes. If we took Jesus words to their extreme, it would vastly improve our world, especially the Sermon on the Mount.
Smart answer! But it would also require people to read the Gospels themselves and really understand what Jesus was teaching us. The number of Christians who actually attribute Old Testament teachings to Jesus is quite alarming.
Much of the problem is that they understand neither the Old Testament nor the New. Too many have a complete misunderstanding of the difference between 'You have heard it said" and "It Is Written!" : Jesus actually took the law seriously - so seriously that He connected anger with murder, and connected needing to make a vow with general dishonesty:
