A property tax is far more Constitutional than a tax on work for pay *(aka Personal Income Tax) - What alternatives do the property tax eliminators propose?
:) Looks like more than one. I have some options. Sales taxes on non - essentials, tariffs, lower Congress' pay and\or tie it to merit, cut the Federal Budget to 5% of the GDP, End The Federal Reserve, Stop foreign aid that we are not at least receiving something in return for (whether intelligence, or other benefits) The other thing is: The property tax is collected at the state level. I love De Santis as governor of Florida, and Florida already has no tax on work for pay (aka Personal Income tax) The personal income tax was considered stealing 'bread from the mouth of the laborer' by Jefferson, but they had no problem with a progressive property tax.
Those are some good plans, thank you. My state still has some personal income tax but it's at higher income levels. ND is a rich state with all the oil. It might not seem like it because most of us are pretty down to earth but it does. One of the richest people in our town, when he's in his work clothes looks like he sleeps in a barn somewhere in the mountains of Kentucky and nice as can be, as well as the rest of his family, I visited with him and his family many times when I worked in a gas station here. Let me tell you the cars they drive...well they're nice, very nice. I know not to judge a book by it's cover lol.

That's a good question that apparently got you a downvote. Because nobody has a good answer.
