Unfortunately something much worse is in the works for Texas, the whole 'future must prove past' mentality means that it is unlikely to be stopped, and it will make what has already happened look like a nice day of 'good surf' by comparison....
IE: if You're in Texas 'watch the water' is very relevant and you want to be AWAY from it(lowlands and any linear lowland terrain providing tidal-bores a pathway...)
