I feed AI software requirements all day and ask it to write user stories (work assignments) for me. The requirements come from people, but the AI is breaking down the work into digestible components that would usually take days, weeks, and months to flush out. The user stories are still groomed and revised by real developers for accuracy, but it (Gemini in this case) doesn't fall to far from the task. Further it often suggests things that we may not have thought of and would have had to change direction later in the process once the humans figured it out. I can get capacity reports in seconds that would take me a days work to figure out and plan for upcoming work iterations. I can confidently and comfortably do the job of three humans from 2 years ago with AI assistance. These are mid 6-figure jobs I'm talking about. Somebody has to mind the robots, and that someone will be me.
So what! Did they actually think all those doctorate were people who could actually come up with something new? You handed out plagiarized doctorates for 30 years.
