Even if you tell this to libs they refute it with, "Well the parties switched in the 1960s!" Which can easily be debunked but this lie is so widespread that it's being taught in schools. The programming is so deep that I'm not even sure if some people can break out of it.
also.....There were 14 men who held the title of president before George Washington. These individuals served as the President of the Continental Congress and the Confederation Congress before the establishment of the U.S. Presidency.

Mainly because the south wanted to keep the black population down and used party connections to form the Klan.
