Jesus actually gave us the path to bring Catholics into the truth in Daniel and Revelation if they can be walked through the prophecies starting with Daniel. They can be shown the connections between the Catholic church, aka "Papal Rome" (as opposed to pagan Rome), and to put the cherry on top, tell them

“Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, ‘I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.’ For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.”

Notice, this is written to true believers stuck within the whore. "my people"

This is the way to wake them up and it's been successful, along with simpler things such as pointing out the blatant idolatry, false doctrines, sexual perversion of clergy, child abuse, the crusades and Inquisitions, etc.

Given that most likely every last one of us has some level of scriptural misunderstandings or some tradition or practice we’ve decided to uphold that is in error, in addition to failings branching from simply misexecution, it seems important to not blockade anyone off from being able to recognize and address those areas.

I don't really get how I'm blockading someone by exposing the origins of Preterism and Futurism and calling the pope the anti-christ. Eschatology isn't really a salvific issue, people will likely just end up caught off guard. As for the pope... if he's the anti-christ I'd say that's damn important to tell
