For almost a decade now, it's been delay, delay, delay. Then suddenly Blondi announced there are no files and everyone should stop asking. EVERYONE freaked out, and then Trump spent four days straight telling people to stop talking about Epstein because it's a settled matter.
They tried the delay for six years. They released the 1000+ page coverups. None of those worked and now it's time to put up or shut up.
My thought is that Trump overstepped his hand. He spent six years pumping up Epstein as the biggest case of all time and made it into a huge key issue of people who don't care about politics. He used it as a way to get as many people as possible on board and on his side.
Then, for some reason, they decided to not release anything because it's either incriminating or it's just a nothingburger. My guess is it's the nothingburger, which will be a bigger disappointment to people than if it pointed blame at anyone.
The reality is that all the info is probably out in the open and they hinted at more secrets to just keep people interested and on the train, but there are no more tracks, the train is out of fuel and everyone wants a good look at the train as it comes to a stop, and Trump doesn't want anyone to see how boring it really is because it will make the last six years of hype seem like they were lying or manipulating.
This isn't news, it's showmanship, and they got caught stuffing the rabbit in the hat where everyone could see, now they either admit it was a trick, or point the finger somewhere else and deflect.
