I believe you are correct about the Trophy reflection. You can see a gold strip on his hair, ear and the left side of his head. Great deduction Scotzman! 👏
It kind of looks like he's wearing a disguised hearing device - definitely necessary after everything he's been through.
I am going with that. But could have been his body double or he was sleeping on that ear.
