There’s a shitload of abandoned Bases, Airfields and other shit they could use. Many of which still have facilities with mostly functional utilities albeit a bit dated.

Using an actively in use Military Facility seems a little silly given the numbers of out of use facilities. Granted Camp Atterbury is a National Guard facility. Even still.

But I’m guessing there were other factors at work. Like distance to Airports and stuff to consider
