TDS is the complete inability to adjust your worldview based on new information. These people are still screaming that they could not have been wrong about our politicians/leaders for the past four or five decades, and it MUST be the other side that is wrong and evil and bad.
Their worldview is being shattered and some are incapable of re-adjusting.

Cognitive dissonance is hard to deal with. It is much easier to believe that information that conflicts with your views is fake. I anticipate the left “news” organizations to go with the “it’s fake” narrative.
