You can get a countertop distiller for a hundred bucks or so on Amazon. It just boils water and collects the steam so it takes out literally everything and you have only pure water. I've been using one for about a year and you can see the buildup of minerals on the bottom from tap water or even RO filtered water. It makes a huge difference when cooking or making coffee.
Fits under kitchen sink. Multiple levels of filtration before doing RO. Replace filters once a year. Verified output with my professional TDS meter ...0 dissolved solids 👍

How long does it take to fill a coffee pot?
About 2.5 hours to fill the 3 liter carafe that it comes with. It pulls about 1500W so about the same as a microwave or air fryer.
Good to know,TY
I've been using one of these for 15+ years:

Does it slow the flow of water? I used to have something like that on the faucet and the water comes out in drip.
Yes. It's got a separate faucet & 3 gallon reservoir.
Thanks.
You also can leave your tap water uncovered over night and it will evaporate.
I want the water, not let it evaporate. I just don't want the Fluoride and crap.
