Did we ever think he was ever a genuine Trump supporter?

My feeling is that he was placed inside the Capitol purely for photographic reasons. The image of him in fancy dress would be everywhere and suitably iconic.

Wasn't he videoed walking all round the building being escorted by the Capitol Police?

I think he is a person for sale.
