Well Jesus knew it was coming and He knew it has to be done. The Jews represent the wickedness of this world, but ultimately it was God who is the author. If the world didn’t need healing, if the earth is already good, then Jesus wouldn’t need to die on the Cross.

So I see it as the Jews were mere pawns. They’re (I’m talking about the Jews elite and the ones who spit on Christians, not regular Jewish people) prideful they think they’re shakers and movers of this world but no, sadly, they’re the most pathetic losers who are lost sheeps. All the money and power they hold on earth is worthless in the end. They do not have the Holy Spirit, a gift from Jesus when he ascended.
