I guess it would be reasonable to expect that my tax dollars would work, at least fractionally, toward my benefit. This year, except for 1-2 weeks vacation yearly, and few weeks post-op recovery, I have worked non-stop for 50 years. Since high school I have been employees full-time, never leaving a job without another waiting for me. I went to college nights and weekends and paid as I went. I never missed a vote trying my best to help pave a decent future for my family.
I FEEL ROBBED! My stollen tax dollars, and likely VOTE, make me feel I will never be able to retire. I pray our President can get this done. I’m still all in. I will help, and am training my family to embrace a hard-working honest lifestyle, but people like me are no longer the norm and that is frightening.
I'm with you. Been working since I was 13, I'm 68 now. I worked the medical field and there wasn't any retirement plan for us. I'm receiving SS now and can't afford to live solely on that so I'm still working. My Ss is added to the amount I make and I'm being taxed on that again. I have no future and probably will work till I drop dead. Very depressing.
I helped raise my brothers. I wasn’t allowed to work till 18 so I could be available for them. Mom went back to work when I was old enough. Yes, it is depressing, especially since there are so many sapping off our hard work, living the life on our dime. I’m trying not to be jealous, but I couldn’t live their way anyway.
You definitely are not the norm, today. And it is a shame. I am there with you fren. Don't lose hope and with God on his side, Trump may be the answer to most of our prayers. We will see what happens.

How do these people in democrat cities retire? There's some people who never work

You are not alone. That describes many of us.

You either have not done ANY research or you are shill. He did more on his first 100 days than most president's do in 4 years
