Exactly. These are reports, and we really shouldn't be taking anyone's report or view or opinion as gospel. The shenanigans (white, imo) in recent weeks surrounding the Epstein thing shows us that we shouldn't be taking ANYONE at face value.

The more they REEE about this, the more I think Trump is using this as a bait and distraction. Same thing happened with current appointments as well. We will see.
Indeed. This is a report, and (frankly) opinion.
There is value in listening and paying attention, but its entirely possible that there is a LOT more to the story, and some things not being noticed completely.
(Imo, the only reason to sticky this post is to get eyes on, get some digging, and actually investigate. Sadly, 63 upvotes and I wonder which of them really just take the report as gospel and which actually investigate.)
They did this the entire first Trump term, he was never allowed a single recess appointment, and ALL of them have to agree to make it happen.
The obstructionism from within Congress is by design. Senate and House rules committees. They've had 250 years to perfect the process.
