(6) Donations through philanthropic channels like the Friends of Children Fund.
I believe the largest source of funding if from membership dues from MDs. The CDC and NIH are other sources. The corporate sponsors include big pharma & big medicine. MD's get bonuses based on the % of children vaccinated. Where does that $$ come from? Big pharma perhaps? It's a revolving $$ door and the children of America are the victims.
The AAP receives it's funding from these sources:
(1) Membership Dues (from roughly 67,000 members)
(2) Publication Income and Educational Sales (journals, guidelines, books, CME courses)
(3) Conference & Training Fees (annual meetings, online education)
(4) Grants & Contracts (notably from federal agencies like CDC/NIH)
(5) Corporate/Foundation Sponsorships (unrestricted educational grants)
(6) Donations through philanthropic channels like the Friends of Children Fund.
