If American Schools taught the REAL History of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, there would not be another Mention of the Holocaust in American Schools.
Modern day slavery is alive and well.
If you don't think so... just look at the Democrat leaders' comments about illegal immigrants. The difference is that slave owners had to feed and house their slaves and provide some clothing, medical care and other needs. Modern slave owners hire illegal immigrants, keep them in poverty paying them low wages so they can find their own food, housing, clothing and medical care. It's still slavery... but a modern form of it.
"Who will pick our cotton if we get rid of our slaves" didn't work as an argument when the Democrats made it in the 1800s and it won't work now.

Evangelical Christians – Many used moral and biblical arguments to condemn slavery.

There is more human slavery on the planet right now than there has been throughout its entire history. If anybody wants to talk about reparations it's right the f*** now and everywhere.
Dr. Sowell is an oracle for clear, logical thought. Liberals are anathema to this reasoning, and therefore are immune to his words.
