2 things that I’m missing often while searching are:
- single partial keyword match,
- the way 2 words in the keyword work.
Both don’t behave the way I would (naturally) expect.
A good example that explains both issues is keyword: “Flynn attention”.
-
Issue 1: Partial match
-
It doesn’t find the article: “GenFlynn attention”, e.g. this: https://greatawakening.win/p/19BZuJrjmQ/genflynn---attention--another-us/c/
-
It’s because it expects the whole word to be Flynn, not GenFlynn and doesn’t allow partial match.
-
I’d be good to search “attack” and find: attack, attacks, attacker, attackers, etc.
-
-
Issue 2: Multiple words - only work if directly follow one another (with nothing in between):
-
The same example “Flynn attention” keyword doesn’t find the article if there is another word between “Flynn” and “attention”, e.g. this: https://greatawakening.win/p/19BZkvQlc1/liz-crokin--general-flynn-says-p/c/

Imagine trying to find a post about doctor Xyz saying something about covid. What phrase would you search? I would like to use ”Xyz covid” and find articles: Xyz about covid, Xyz says Covid, Xyz mentions Covid, Xyz warns covid will …, etc.

Have you tried this (GAW) programmable Google search engine. It works well for me.
u/muckyduck made it several months ago.
Interesting approach, … although:
not everyone likes Google, e.g. because some posts can be downgraded (like anything covid or Pharma-related) or not indexed at all,
there is also a delay in new content indexing so if you want to check if you’re not breaking the rules by posting a duplicate - you can’t trust Google.
I’m more curious of what can be available here on GAW.
