He was the number 1 radio show in NY, La, Philly and I think about 4 other major cities CONCURRENTLY. The only radio "dj" to ever accomplish this. He was fined over 1 million dollars by the FCC and fought back against them. He had the highest grossing unrated ppv in history. He ran for governor as a libertarian. His film, Private Parts debuted at number one opening weekend. He had 2 number 1 best selling books. He pioneered the move to satellite and had millions follow from terrestrial radio to Sirius despite having to pay for what was usually free.
He interviewed major " stars"and had them admit to crazy things they wouldn't normally talk about.
That's not even getting into his tv shows on channel 9, abc, E! FX(son of the beach)And his own channel Howard tv.
Most modern " talk radio"and podcast hosts are a direct lineage from the Howard Stern show. (For better or worse)
It's a reply to you<>Calling this tripe 'iconic' is pretending Anyone outside of the liberal/communist states of NY and Cal. were Ever watching this drivel.
