I’m dying 😆 Sounds like we grew up in the same era. Everything went in the toilet after the 80s. I listen to more dead people’s music than the living. My give a damn officially left at age 38, I’m 58. Was going through a lot of mess with my parents & health. I finally said F it all. My priorities were God, husband, daughter & pets. I’m not rude to anyone but I don’t care if in laws, fam or old friends approve of me or not. When I stopped working I sold all my dress clothes. Year round it’s shorts, flip flops, tanks & tees. I own one pair of sneakers & sandals for walking, cowboy boots, one pair of jeans & a couple dresses. Maybe about 4 pair of flip flops in different colors. If I’m home I’m usually in a tshirt sleep shirt (just because it’s comfortable) & barefoot, NOT & pregnant🤣 I never saw a problem with that line, women should be in the kitchen barefoot & pregnant. I would have more if we could have.
My husband has finally chilled out like me. I live in the country & the only people near me is my dad, brother & daughter’s fam. I don’t answer the door flashing anyone but I don’t have an issue with being comfortable in your home. Hell, I don’t answer the door anyway unless it’s family. Dang, I wish I had some old tshirts from 70/80s bands. I do have some great soft Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville Tshirts, wish I had bought more. They are so comfy. Those of us born before 1980 lived in last years of the promised land (America).
