I suppose one of the consequences of never publicly arresting anyone is they do continue to be committing crimes and rolling that statue of limitations.
I also observe that the stuff they wrangled some pretty major players with--Schiff and Laetitia James--was mortgage fraud. The type of petty crime that regional lightweights engage in. The only reason those kinds of prosecutions even make sense to the public is the cabal recently having to manifest the Trump mortgage "felony".
