After Sept 11, 2001 there was no crime on the streets. Cameras everywhere, military on each corner, black sedans parked on streets, corners, near parks. It was frightening to see the need for all that security but it was safe.
A friend of my daughter's in a DC college called for a taxi to take her to the airport at 530 am. A taxi pulled up, she got in and within a few minutes the car was stopped by the police. They removed her from the car and put her in another taxi. They arrested the driver. It was a decoy taxi and was meant to kidnap her. Crime was still in DC but it was safer because all the security everywhere.
I am happy Trump is going to clean up this city. Democrats have allowed this city to go to the dogs.
