I wonder...

If somehow:

DC is no longer a foreign territory
We, the People, are no longer "US Citizens" who reside in DC via our ZIP codes etc - Was there a Status change made for all of us?
If #2 is true (status change) - that could mean as a non-resident (of DC now) that we're no longer on the hook for income taxes...

Just joggin the noggin... sorry no sauce other than the bitter sludge between my ears...
