Meh. As a straight dude I'd say pick better battles.
MAGA is the majority of the nation. As such, within that teeming mass of millions, many Trump voters are homosexual. Many Trumpers have family members they love who are homosexual. Why make them choose between MAGA and their loved ones - we need to get over this somehow.
I rip on them all the time (here, not to their face :) for their behavior. Still, being victims of early childhood sexual abuse is nearly universal among homosexuals of both genders. They're never gonna be able to just 'turn over a new leaf' and suddenly start finding the opposite sex attractive instead.
I just don't see this issue as worthy of our mental energy. Why drive a stake of division through MAGA?

My tongue in cheek statement was basically meant to say, don't go talking around behind people's backs, and don't say stuff about a person you wouldn't say to their face. That is common decency.
A persons moral fiber is tested when they have no reason to exercise it. Im not saying I'm perfect by any means, but yeah, own what you said, or correct it.
