Maybe you guys should have a public facing wiki with all the ebbidence we have collected on things over the years instead of just doing this broken record thing that we do over and over again all the time.

Right but posts come and posts go. That's my point. Think of it as a sticky of stickies with a much more accessible format.
One big post put on the sidebar, also have an archive of the post linked as backup.
That could be possible. Good suggestion.
