They are protesting because ICE is looking at leasing an old prison that is just outside of the Town of Walsenburg. They are hoping to have at least 150 people show up. Many of these folks are not from the area and will have someone backing them, I am sure. There is a large Hispanic community in this area and they are all bent out of shape. The liberals have a reoccurring protest in town, every Friday. The podcaster "Gods Green Earth" on Facebook has covered the Friday protest also.
