Twanda Willingham is suing the city of Chicago after being shot with a pistol that had been turned over to Chicago PD at buyback event.

My wife's cousin works for a company that used to do gun disposal from buybacks. They stopped doing it a few years ago when they found out the people they paid to destroy the firearms were just selling them as bulk scrap metal without destroying the guns first.

Weird how cartels buy so much scrap metal.
