Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump)
I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we’re at it, Highly “Inaccurate,” Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES, which cost Ten Times more than accurate and sophisticated Watermark Paper, which is ...
You mean the District of Columbia(Washington DC)? Or the actual state? As for DC, I would think so.
Washington State (Seattle-land):
1983: allowed mailed in ballots from citizens (disabled, over 65, special circumstances)
2005: allowed counties to hold elections by mail and only one county (Pierce) opted to keep the polling locations
2011: made all elections by mail
There’s are several states that do all elections by mail? 8-10, something like that. And I think all “blue” states ironically. California being the most known. Just curious why Washington state was singled out? Am I missing something here? Not sure why they would be separated from this executive order?
It just sounds too good to be true. And Whiptail above is absolutely right.
Republicans have no say in Washington politics. They have been refused entry in the state capitol, including their own offices during the covid nonsense. They also were muted during legislative debate when they were held on zoom (or whatever online software they used). Muted. They can silence Republican voices because they know they are all selected, not elected.
And Washington is fighting a lot of Trump's Executive Orders.
