I don't want to be an asshole, but maybe that's god telling them not to have kids.
My cousin's wife had four miscarriages (through IVF that cost $30k each) before having their only child that lived. The kid was born at 29 weeks, VERY premature and needed to stay in the hospital for three months. That kid has severe medical issues and it's been a miracle they've made it to 10 years old. The kid is currently in the hospital and they're afraid he won't make it out. The family has sunk millions into treatments and therapies for this kid.
20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage, no one talked about it before. When my wife had a miscarriage in 1977 we didn't tell anyone because we were ashamed. It's very different now, people openly discuss miscarriages.
