Look at the trim on the top of the window sill (this is about waist high when standing next to the car) on the outside of the door. If it is not contacting the window then water can get between the trim and the window. I have that problem with my Prius. I don't care because it is 20 YO and is now a beater. Yet your whip looks newer. Try gently pushing the trim towards the window and see if it helps the situation.
