I “escorted” Aziz’s aircraft at the end of the Gulf War. Unscheduled, two different tail numbers on each side and had a freshly painted pink cross with runny paint. The entire way I kept saying: “Can I shoot him?” They never made up their minds. I gave him a full burner wake up as he touched down.
