lol. Well played. I'm having trouble locating an affordable Russian sks.
They may be hard to find, but you might have better luck with Chinese or Warsaw Pact production. i managed to find an SKS that was revised to accept AK-47 magazines. But not a drum magazine, as i found out. The stock would need to have some interfering material removed. I was told that was a federal no-no, but put on my surly face and said nothing. Might not be safe to do. The stock is plastic fiber, and cutting could raise unhealthy dust.
You can modify your own guns in any way that you want as long as you don't turn it into an NFA item. There's no reason you cannot make it accept a drum magazine.
