In Alabama we have to show our IDs to vote and we have paper ballots, though we do have to feed the ballots into a machine to count our votes.
... which makes the whole process pointless. The ID and paper gives the vote a feeling of legitimacy while the ones controlling the machines have all the power
Same in Florida. And straight into the Dominion counter, which looks like a genuine over priced piece of crap aside from any considerations of it being otherwise problematic.
A neat thing, one of the acceptable voter IDs in Florida is a concealed carry license.
Us, too in Texas GDZ...I hate those machines! 🤬
Same here in Oklahoma. We also have to have our name checked and party affiliation and to sign by our name to vote.
