I was discussing this with a friend, suggesting that government should dismantle all large corporations (venture firms) that own multiple business chains in automotive, cell phones, computing, food, clothing, construction, agriculture, medicine and get it back to being managed by smaller businesses. While this is happening, deregulate the market by removing all the crap that stifles small business growth. This eliminates the incessant money and power grab by the evil few and the Neverending worship of the bottomline, profits and shareholders. This fosters a real free market and boosts competition and innovation. There should be a rule set in place that stops larger companies going willy nilly and buying up their competition and killing them. Like a 10 year gap between buying startups and other companies.
We are in this deep market monopoly because of we the people letting it happen. No more. Kill alphabet, black rock, walmart, amazon, Costco, Kroger, Tyson, etc....list goes on. All of them have been colluding to consolidate so much market power and as a result so many family businesses, promising startups, invovators, market disruptors and manufacturing have closed or are limping along struggling to survive.
