I like seafood. Coincidentally I am sure, I just ate a bunch of lobster and shrimp and fish. I also am unfortunately at the age where eye floaters are an issue. My contacts seem to have caused floaters, sleeping with them in is bad.
Today I have a floater in my eye that looked like a squiggly shape, like a parasite, instead of a round ball. It changed shape after 5 minutes, and after a few more minutes left my field of vision. Kind of funny because my better half randomly told me a month or so ago she read eye floaters are caused by parasites. I can also feel movement, tingling, in the same eye where I determined it was persent. The bastard has to be alive and moving.
So... what can I do that I havn't done already? Can I get this thing and his friends out myself? I already choked down Merck's FenBen and rubbed some around my eye. Something tells me that isn't going to cut it.
Have already contacted my eye doctor, who is of course not open on Saturdays.
I don't think I should go to the ER because why would I see anyone in the field who has been taught that humans don't need to deworm ?

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughtful comments. I am going to look into everything. First getting to the eye doc to see if they see anything visible.
I 'm in California, I was on a trip to Oregon years ago with my dog, while petting him I saw what looked like at first a tiny movement in one corner of his eye. Looking closer I saw it moving, I started looking in his eye and moving his eyelid some and saw a clump, Medusa like clump of tiny worm like cluster all connected in the center. Creeped me out, took him to a local vet office, Creeped them out and the Vet said he had never seen it before and took him in and removed them, after about an hour or so He came and told me he had figured it out, Because of me living in Calif the " Bug " that laid the parasite was not known to the area in Oregon. he explained the parasite to me at the time. Never saw or heard of it since. I could have simply used a qtip and removed the cluster myself, that's all they had done to remove it, but it was so creepy looking and would kind of worm and wiggle its way back out of sight when trying to look at it and it was just plain creepy looking. Not suggesting this is what you may have just an experience and maybe something to look for. Dog Eye Parasite A small, worm-like parasite found in a dog's eye that resembles a medusa or a fine thread is most likely an eyeworm, specifically Thelazia californiensis or Thelazia callipaeda. These parasitic roundworms are typically white to cream-colored, active, and move rapidly across the eye's surface, often described as looking like nylon fishing line. Thelazia californiensis is most prevalent in western North America and is transmitted by face flies, houseflies, or filth flies, which ingest the worm's larvae from the dog's tears and then deposit them into the eye during feeding. Thelazia callipaeda, another species, is carried by fruit flies and has been reported in Europe, the Far East, and more recently, in the northeastern United States, including New York. Both species can cause serious eye problems, including corneal ulcers, conjunctivitis, and potentially blindness if left untreated. Immediate veterinary attention is crucial for diagnosis and treatment, which may involve manual removal of the worms or administration of anti-parasitic medications like ivermectin, selamectin, or moxidectin.
Damn that is some crazy shit !
