-when tearing down the old ones they realized how disgusting the knick knacks and decor were. Grime,dirt,grease, dead bugs, etc because most never cleaned the decor
-new seating is a massive upgrade. Much more comfortable
-waiting tables is easier and more effective.
The food is the same. The gift shops sell the same items. From a business point of view it is the right move.
No idea why a six am breakfast or post church lunch needs cringy decor and Chinese checkers or some peg game on the table
