Colonel Tony Schaffer stated in his book, he was following the hijackers, then was canceled by Asst. AJ Jamie Gorlick, to stop operations. This was in August of 2000, he said in his book the order came from above. Jamie Gorlick was appointed to the 9.11 commission, Col. Schaffer went to her and wanted to testify to the commission but was refused by Gorlick. The surveillance of the hijackers was never mentioned in the 9.11 report. After the commission was published, Gorlick was appointed the the FED New York board of governors. at a salary of $200K per year. In other words she was rewarded for her silence. Col. Schaffer, was labeled as a kook army officer and conspiracy theorist.
