This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.

Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment

Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.

Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)

You are impressive, Christine. I will be praying for you. Do you have a posse to accompany you to sit in the audience for moral support and encouragement? I hope you can get a big group together. What else can you do to pressure them to allow you to speak. Make sure you record everything when you make calls like that where they hang up on you, tell you you can't speak, etc. I know newer iphones allow the iphone owner to record calls now.
If there anybody at all in a government position who will help you? Local state senator or rep? City council person? US Senator or Rep? Even if from outside your district. What about local GOP groups, Libertarian groups or Constitutional groups?
I'm so impressed you are doing this and I know you'll keep us posted. I'll be praying and I do hope you find some others who are in agreement with you who will be there to support you. God bless and all the best in this endeavor.
Btw, I did see that you said you'd be calling in. I still hope you can get a group together to sit with you for moral support when you call. AND if any of them could actually make it to the meeting and be in the audience, that would be great too. Good luck!
