How much more awake do we have to be though before we finally start seeing crime punished, rather than flaunted in our faces. I know this is all part of the experience, but there are just some things that need action, rather than just rubbing our noses in it. Perhaps if there were actual consequences, instead of rewards of fame and attention, then crime would not be quite so appealing to criminals. When we start making examples out of criminals instead of celebrities out of them then bad behaviors will finally start to shift.
