This was a delicate tight rope operation. Our military was notified so that we didn’t shoot at the strike aircraft. Timing such that the telephone tag did not leave time to tip off the Hamas leaders. Everyone looks like they have clean hands and the Israelis took out terrorists hiding behind Qatar and living in luxury.
All players know that Hamas will not quit and give up the hostages. They must be rescued.
I agree...praying we can do it successfully with tunnels and no telling how many times they've been moved, but don't we have some tech like ground penetrating /infrared that could locate the hostages if we don't have good Intel?
We got some cool stuff, but because it’s urban, the tunnels spend most of their time under structures. And it would really help if there was something significant down there. Explosives, weapons catch, etc., but most of that would not be where the people are. But we could insert things that would show where the people are.

I know how I would do it. Just need access points. Could drill holes.
