Hi frens,
Current pediatrician (in Massachusetts) requires all patients to follow the CDC vaccine schedule, no refusing/altering, or you're out of the practice. It seems like virtually all pediatricians are this way near me.
I need a doctor who can do the following:
- Not require vaccines (They're ALL poison. Every. Single. One.)
- Do wellness checks on my children at milestones to make sure my little ones are healthy (normal Pediatric stuff)
- Licensed to be able to give referrals
- Licensed to be able to order prescriptions (like if we antibiotics for strep/ear infections/etc)
- Takes my company's insurance
My children are 1 and 2, any advice would be much appreciated. Any other MA pedes with experience around here?
Thanks!
Edit: Thank you all for your helpful suggestions, my wife and I appreciate you all! We're going to consider a family physician, and realize that one covered by insurance is likely not going to happen.
Freedom isn't Free, right?? :)
As for medicine / home remedies, does anyone have any recommendations for kits that cover the most important stuff to have on-hand in case our little ones do come down with an illness?
Thanks again!
Not in MA myself, but are you familiar with urgent care facilities? I'm in AZ and we have this place: https://www.bannerhealth.com/. Doesn't look like they have MA locations but I'm sure MA would have a similar type place.
Urgent Care facilities typically don't ask or even do vaxxxes. They do general check-ups, sports physicals, test for viruses, muscle pains, etc. Very much general practitioners and they are affordable and fast. Usually able to see you same day or within 24 hours. Find an "urgent care" type place in MA. I suspect there are some and they would probably work but not sure they see kids that young. I know I took my boy when he was like 5yo and they were OK with it.
Also, do you know a good lawyer? Seems like a sue-able offense to FORCE customers/patients to be vaxxxed. No religious or personal exemptions allowed? If you can find an urgent care, I'd highly recommend you get every other customer out of that pediatric practice. Let's see how those mandates work once they lose a significant amount of customers.
