Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Rules For the rest of the Site also accessible on the sidebar.

I have a few things to say, but its very late (here) and I don't have the energy to create a 'high effort post' as Cats exhorted us to restrict ourselves to. So, I'll settle right now for a comment here in Daily Chat.
One, God's path is to sacrifice, if a sacrifice is necessary, those who are precious to him. I think we can feel that Charlie Kirk was, fundamentally, a very good person. He has become an offering on the alter of those whose lives are stolen.
Two, God's way is to turn all evil things towards good. Reflecting on this event, I thought about how it has affected people all around the world - some of my own countrymen, not Americans, have expressed being deeply affected by the loss of Kirk.
Even the scattered drops of information suggest strongly that this was a planned assassination, and a professional hit job. Not some random, kooky MK ultra tool.
Coming on the eve of 9-11, more and more my gut feeling is that this was a deliberate 'occult' attack. Let me unpack that. By 'occult', I mean that it was an event designed and conceived in order to attack, spiritually, the hearts of Americans, patriots, those fighting for the restoration of America's goodness.
Just as 9-11 was. Yes, there are practical mechanics at work. 9-11 was executed in order to advance certain agendas. But more than anything, it was an attack on the hearts and minds of good people. A trauma-inducing event, set to hurt and weaken.
Just like the JFK assassination. Major shock and trauma on the psyche of a people in order to weaken them, trip them up, destroy.
The people who orchestrated this assassination were, imo, driven by satanic forces that sought to strike a blow to the morale of those fighting for the things that Charlie Kirk tried to live for.
But, God's path often involves allowing evil to strike, unjustifiably, so that God can then claim back spiritual territory from evil.
There are a lot of negative reactions out there, not just stupid and moronic responses from brainwashed idiots who 'celebrate' Kirks death, but on our side, too. Because in shock and hurt, a natural response is often to strike out.
But the real power comes by absorbing that shock and hurt, and then turning it into good. To have MORE faith, MORE determination, MORE love and MORE fairness in our actions, this is how evil can be turned to good.
Make no mistake. Such times are times of trial. Evil wants to use its attacks to lead us astray and dishearten us, or even better, prompt us to lash out in anger and frustration and dismay.
Amidst a lot of the posting in the last 24 hours, I am profoundly encourage to read posts and offerings by people who recognize the time of trial for what it is, and who advocate for turning evil into good, by the conscious choices we make, today.
If you feel anger, pain, frustration, hurt, etc, don't deny those feelings. They are important. But allow them to be turned into emotional energy propelling yourself and your society towards even greater good. If it takes time, let it. Grief takes time. But keep your eye on the goal that evil wants you to forget. Return good for evil, even while you work to keep evil to account.
