Im not familiar with this specific work but I have read Joseph Farrell's work pretty extensively. He gives a good overview of these concepts in the era of classical music and the symphony. I thank you for the recommendation fren, much appreciated.
I enjoy his books, I think you'd like his subject matter. Although his style isn't light reading and I find myself stopping to think about what he's writing. Good stuff though.
