wouldn't they be able to check the bullet. I'm sure it would have to be a smaller one than from that rifle. Doesn't seem logical to me, but I'm no expert on firearms.

The Bullet from a .30-06 is dramatically larger than a .380 or 9mm bullet.

It’ll be quite obvious and apparent what he was shot by to anyone who checks the bullet.
